Confusion? I don’t think so.

You know how all of the books say that you shouldn’t introduce a pacifier or bottle for the first month or so, to avoid nipple confusion. We gave Spencer his dummy (binkie) as soon as the midwives left on the day he was born. I didn’t think it would be a problem and I was right. There is absolutely no confusion. I have to try for at least a minute to convince him to take the dummy. But all I have to do is lay him down on my lap and the child practically throws himself at me and latches on to anything that touches his mouth. As I said, there is no confusion. He knows exactly what he wants and he knows where the goods are.

Spencer already looks different today. He’s chunking up a bit and is starting to come into his own face. He still looks a lot like Emma but mostly he just looks like Spencer :)

It has been so nice having Nancy here. It is great knowing that if I need a nap (when I need a nap) I don’t have to work around the girls nap time. It’s almost 10 am and I actually think I’m going to lay down pretty soon. It’s great.
