I am one of ten cast members. I will play Alice (who also plays Christmas Past and other mulitple roles). The setting of the play is in a factory / warehouse in London, on Christmas Eve, at the end of the 19th Century. The factory workers are completing the day’s labors. But they have a special way to celebrate this holiday. Being too poor to have a traditional Christmas, they stay in the factory and tell each other the story of the miser, Scrooge, and his travels with the Spirits of Christmas. The action of the story is acted out using props from the factory, mime, and song. It is a truly Dickensian approach to the story.

I my current homework is to brush up on my british accent. I guess I’ll just have to listen to Harry Potter again :)
