After a wonderful talk given in Sacrament meeting yesterday. I was inspired to change our daily routine. Our new life started this morning at 5:30. Matt is less than enthusiastic, but supportive none the less. We alternated lifting weights and running on the treadmill. By 6:30 all of the kids were up so we showered and then had a song, scriptures and a prayer. What a wonderful way to start the day. After breakfast, Matt left for work (by 7:30) and how did we top off our great morning? Why, we danced to Billy Joel full blast on the stereo! What else could we do?!
I lost two pounds last week! I’m down 7 to 143! Only ten more before I’m my pre preg weight. But probably 20 or more before I’m back into my clothes. After all, before Spencer, I was a ripped marathon runner who was happy with her body for the first time in her life (even if she did weigh a little more). I had a lot of muscles. It’s going to take some work to get them back.
Our new bed time is 8:30, that way we can get enough sleep to get up early again. I sure hope this lasts, I can’t even tell you how much I hate getting up early.
