Unless you have been living under a brick you know that Google Reader is biting the dust July 1. My first thought was “UN-acceptable”! I follow far too many blogs to check individually every day!
I realize how childish it seems that I didn’t know that there were OTHER reader services… but there you are. I tried Feedly and really liked it at first. The first few weeks of using it I thought, “where have you been all my life?”; but then it started to get on my nerves. I hated that it wouldn’t keep me signed in and that it was a plugin (kind of like an app for my browser) rather than just a website and I had to authorize it to connect to google every day. I had heard a lot about Bloglovin and decided to give it a shot.
Guess what? Everything I loved about Feedly and none of what I hate :)
So if you want to continue to read my random musings on homeschool, DIY, and politics (it’s like a train wreck, right? You just can’t look away!) you can follow me three different ways.
- Follow my blog with Bloglovin – http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/5290255/?claim=g96j8a5k8kb
- Get my new posts sent directly in to your inbox – http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=ordinaryhappilyeveraftercom/blog
- Follow me on Facebook (admittedly Facebook isn’t the most reliable way, but you MIGHT get to see random shots of adorable children and random status updates throughout the day ;) ) – https://www.facebook.com/OrdinaryHappilyEverAfter
So I want to know, what were your first thoughts when Google Reader announced its days were coming to an end?
